Donate Food

What Kind of Food Do People Need?  If you're considering donating food to our Emergency Food Pantry, here are some helpful guidelines to keep in mind.

The following items are currently in demand:
  • Pasta
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Canned Fruits, and Vegetables
  • Tuna
  • Soup
  • Rice
  • Cereal
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Juice, Coffee, and Tea

Our pantry also has a walk-in freezer and refrigerator.  We accept refrigerated and frozen foods as well as the canned and dry foods.  

Finally, please, for the health and dignity of those we serve, we cannot accept badly dented cans, outdated cans, or open packages.

If you cannot drop off donations during regular business hours, please call the Food Pantry at (413) 572-0802 to arrange a more convenient time.

Donate Other Basic Necessities

Does the Pantry accept other items?  Yes, we also accept and distribute some other basic essentials needed by our clients.

We also accept the following items, in new condition:
  • Infant Diapers
  • Toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc.)
  • Menstrual Products
  • Cat and Dog Food

Please, for the health and dignity of those we serve, we cannot accept items that are partially used or in badly damaged or soiled packaging.

Make a Monetary Donation

Monetary donations allow us to purchase more food than you would be able to with the same amount of money.

Did you know nearly 90% of our annual budget comes from donations? We rely on the generosity of the community to support our efforts to provide food to the hungry of Westfield. Food donations are always appreciated but we have limited storage space and can help more people with a monetary donation. Your donation is 501(c)(3) tax-deductible.
