Recently we’ve noticed a huge influx in a particular type of food donations coming into the pantry. This happens from time to time, and we didn’t think too much of it. We are always grateful for donations, no matter where they originate. When the director picked up the donation, she saw a familiar face at the company. This man had been a client at the Westfield Food Pantry a couple of years ago. As it turns out, he stopped coming to the Food Pantry when he was able to get a better paying job. He never forgot our kindness and that we had been there to support him and his family when they needed help, and now he is in a position to “pay it forward“ by coordinating donations through his new employer!
